How does the agency earn?
The agency earns from the commission on work we get artists. We take a 15% commission on all fees (excluding travel expenses).

 

As we do not charge ANY registration fees, it is therefore clearly in the agency’s best interest to secure artist’s work.

Once I’m registered with the agency, am I guaranteed work?
Unfortunately, not! No agency could possibly guarantee work, as they have no idea whatsoever what work will come into their offices from one day to the next, so will never know in advance who a client may select for their assignment.  If you have enough credits it is highly beneficial for you as an artist to register with Spotlight, this is one of the biggest online casting platforms and is used by some of the biggest casting directors to search for artists, it also allows us to submit you for even more work.  

 

If an agency tells you they can guarantee you work, then avoid them at all costs!

What happens once I am registered with the agency?

We will contact you to confirm the details you have submitted upon registration within 5 days. In order to determine your suitability for particular roles as we will not contact you every time you are submitted for work.

We will put you forward for all assignments you meet the criteria for. As and when a client contacts us to ask to meet you for a casting or book you, we will contact you immediately. If you spot a role that we may have missed you can contact us to submit you.

 

Sometimes we might contact you beforehand if the client requests us to do so to confirm availability, or maybe to confirm a specific detail.

We will require at least 3 recent photographs to create your profile so please ensure you upload these upon registration so we can create your profile to forward to casting directors and production companies for various productions.  If you are over 18 years of age you will also be required to provide a recent dbs check.

How quickly will I be paid after each assignment?

The majority of clients can take up to 8 weeks to provide payment for any roles you may be cast in but rest assured as soon as we receive payment we will pay you.
