I have over 14 years industry experience, I have a solo touring cabaret and I run an ABBA tribute duo.

I was born in Ormskirk, I attended a stage school originally called Trinity stage school and what is now West Lancs Performing Arts. I went on to study performing arts-  musical theatre Full time at Southport college. I trained as a dance teacher at the stage school during my college years and when I graduated I left with triple grade distinction and an IDTA associate qualificatioN.

MY performing has taken ME to various locations including Spain, the balearic islands, the canary islands, the Greek Islands, Cyprus, Germany and Cape Verde. 

MY Clients HAVE includeD Saga Cruises, Explosive Productions, Parkdean holidays, Haven, Thomson Gold – TUI ltd, a tour of the military bases and Romantic Corporate.

 

I was part of the original cast of a dinner theatre show in Catalonia, performing female lead in 'Hairspray' 'Les miserables' and 'Phantom of the opera.'

i HAVE performed in several theatre tours such aS, Dreamboat and Petticoats

Mamma Mia, The Rocky Horror Show, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert, Pantomine AND Shakespeare.

TV work includes Blue peter, Hollyoaks, Over the rainbow - search for Dorothy, an NHS

training video, Cucumber and Justin lee Collins west end star.

I haVE been a vocal rehearsal director for 5 years and provide vocal harmony guides for various companies across Europe including, Applause Productions, Romantic Corporate and Reamba Pantomimes and provide private singing tutorage Singing With Becky

TONY LLOYD

Tony Lloyd is a North West based Film Maker\Director who has worked in the Industry for the last thirty years. He went to West Surrey School of Art to study film and returned to his home in the North. Here he formed successful alliances with various writers, Actors and technicians and began to make high end Corporate films for the likes of Elida Faberge, De Pugh Medical International, Esso and ICI. To name but a few.

Tony also worked in London as a 3rd, 2nd and a 1st Assistant Director for Walker-Dobney Productions who specialised in TV Adverts. As well as Industry work, Tony enjoys creative Arts based projects, such as short drama based narrative films and Documentaries focusing on a varied range of topics. He also enjoys Teaching Video Production in many Colleges and Universities which include, LIPA, Liverpool Media Academy, Liverpool Community College and more recently Salford University.

In 2007 and 2009 respectively, Tony Directed two feature length Holocaust Documentaries, the first was called 'Once We Were Numbers' and the second film was called 'AREK', which went on to win the Grand Jury Prize at the New York Film Festival (NY & Miami). Tony also had a short film, 'The Ninety Second Minute' in competition at Cannes the same year.

Tony continues to develop projects with National and Local writers, the latest are about the incredible true story of the birth of comic book icon, 'Dan Dare' and a Science Fiction/Horror

I ran my own drama school in the Wirral for ten years teaching children aged 3-16,  I incorporate all elements OF MUSICAL THEATRE AND DRAMA and produce productions such as Annie, Oliver twist, Alice in wonderland and Charlie and the chocolate factory.

 

I focus my lessons around confidence building, stage technique, devising, improvising and contemporary theatre. I also do a lot of monologue/ duologue work, i've entered students into festivals and had them doing site specific, and community theatre.

 

Aside from teaching I act, write direct and produce, i've got lots of experience working with young people and adults.

 

In 2021, I won best director award at the Liverpool Fringe FestivaL.

I am a guest mentor regularly to an artistic company Make It Write which supports emerging artists in their introductions to the arts and helping them in the early stages with their work, I do this from a directors view.
